Who can join NACNet?
NACNet will develop a ‘core’ membership of around 8-12 scientists, engineers and industrialists who will actas a steering group for the network, setting the agenda for the various events. They will be drawn from as wide a range of disciplines as possible, but will include cement scientists and cement industry representatives. The wider membership of NACNet would include anyone who has an interest in novel uses for cements at any level- there will be no restrictions on membership. The main deliverable from the network is grant proposals or research collaborations, so the principal benefit of membership is likely to be potential partners for these and related activities, as well as some access to minor travel money for core members.
