Who can join? How does the ranking system work?
There are 7 different skills levels. These levels range from a Rookie = 2 points up to a Grand Master = 8 points. The maximum points allowed per league night will not exceed 25 points. Anyone from a beginner to an advanced player can join the league. Sorry but you big dogs considered Pro players are not allowed. (The word Amateur is in the title in case you hadn’t noticed). We recognize that the bar table is the great equalizer. Players will be evaluated based on their bar table skills for handicapping. Players that have no ranking reference will be evaluated by the NAPL staff and ranked as best as possible. Rankings will be adjusted throughout the season as players show improvement.
