Who can initiate eService?

The next to the last step in our eFiling process is the eService/Fax Service step. Our software will automatically populate the page with the information of any parties that have opted in to receive eService for that cause. You can also search to add any other parties that have globally opted in with the state eFiling system to receive eService for any cause to which they are a party. Finally, you can add additional parties to whom to send a fax service. However, if you are serving without an accompanying eFiling to the court, this is known as eService Plus by the state eFiling system but you may think of it as a “stand-alone” eService. The process is similar to eFiling except that, instead of selecting the court in which to file, you select the parties to serve. The state eFiling system requires that at least one party must be eServed in order for you to use our Fax Service in this situation.
