Who can I call to have electrical work done for a surround sound system?
In some locations, low voltage work has to be done by a low voltage contractor (audio / video people) it just depends on the local inspecting agency. If not many electrical contractors can run cat 5e and rg-6 cabling and terminate them. Must would only need a layout design to go by which would be dependent on speakers, locations for them, equipment placement, and considerations for future usage. Just make shure they are licenced, get referances, and at least 3 estimates.
