Who can hospice help?
Hospice care is there for anyone with a terminal diagnosis with a life expectancy of six months or less. Typical diagnosis of people who receive hospice care include heart disease, lung disease, AIDS, cancer, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s), congestive heart failure, Alzheimer’s, coma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dementia, diabetes, emphysema, liver failure, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, renal failure, stroke and others.
