You and your Vocational Rehabilitation Services counselor will talk about what you’re good at, what you like and what you need. This is part of choosing a good job or career. Together you will set up a plan to meet your work goals. This plan is called an Employment Plan. Vocational Rehabilitation Services has many services. You and your counselor will pick the ones that are best for you. Some of them are: • Counseling • Training • Finding a job • Keeping a job • Assistive Technology Your Vocational Rehabilitation Services counselor can be part of your transition planning team if you have one, and will assist you in carrying out your plan even after you are done with school. Vocational Rehabilitation Services will work with you until you have a job that is right for you.
