That’s a good question. Most people can. If you do not wear contact lenses now or need any vision correction, you most likely can get non corrective colored contact lenses. These are sometimes referred to as cosmetic contact lenses and are designated as “plano” contact lenses since the vision correction is set to zero. All they do is change the color of your eyes. To determine if you can wear contacts, you should see your local eye doctor. Simply call and ask for an appointment and tell them that you want to get fitted for a pair of colored contacts. They will know what to do from there. You will go in for your visit and then walk out with a prescription for colored contacts that are non corrective – if you vision is fine.
