Who can get a work permit?
All ABC Class members have the right to a work permit during the time their applications for asylum are being processed by INS. The applicants to NACARA Legislation benefits are also entitled to a work permit. Spouses and children under 21 years are also entitled to a work permit. The beneficiaries of TPS who re-registered in 2007 also have the right to request a work permit, as long as they continue to register each time the receive an extension.
