Who can explain to me how to calculate precision and Standard Deviation?

I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think that precision can be calculated, it is a relative concept not an absolute, except to say that like 70% of our data was 1 SD from the mean, but since your Standard deviation is based on your data, that would be saying our orange is an orange. Your Standard deviation is based on how much larger (or in some cases, smaller) than the mean is 1/3 of your data. That number is then applied to both above and below your mean value for 1 SD from the mean (this is usually 60-75% of your data, perfect data would have 66.666%) outside this is the less precise values. You can also make multiple SDs (IE say mean is 50 and your SD is 5, then all values 45-55 are 1 SD, all values 40-60 are 2 SD, all values 35-65 are 3 SD, etc.
