SSNI showcases are open to all ages, in dance; singing; songwriting; band; and instrumentalist. The SSNI review panel looks at applicant EPK, MySpace page, or press kit by mail, and applicants who are approved register to showcase. Overall Classes are: Career and Youth/Student. Youth/Student is everyone under 18 years of age. Fields are: Dancer (all forms); Artist (singer, instrumentalist); Writer (songwriter, lyricist, composer); Band (Band, choir, combo, duo) Categories for all Fields and Classes are: Dance (all forms), Gospel, Pop (pop, rock, Broadway, AC), Country (country, Americana, roots), R&B/hiphop (R&B, hiphop, rap, soul, blues), and Latin/jazz (Latin, jazz, instrumental, world.
