Who can DOC verify incarceration for?
A. The Department can verify incarceration for the Pardon Board, Parole Board, Governor’s Office, sentencing judge, law enforcement agencies (sheriffs, local and state police departments, U.S. Attorneys, district attorneys, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation), DPS&C personnel and appropriate governmental agencies or public officials, when access to such information is imperative for the discharge of the responsibilities of the requesting agency, official or court officer, and the information is not reasonably available through any other means. The Department will also release information to court officers with proper orders specifying information requested.
