Who can come to a Stroke Prevention Clinic?
Any person who has had a recent stroke or TIA can get an appointment at the clinic. You need to be referred by an emergency room doctor, your family doctor or another medical specialist. A family member or friend is welcome to come to the clinic with you. When you come to the clinic, your family doctor is kept informed of your progress and treatment plans.
