Who can call themselves Coaching Psychologists?
This guidance is specifically for SGCP members. The term coaching psychologist is not a restricted or specialist title and at the present time there is no intention for this title to be subject to statutory regulation. As such, the use of this descriptive term is left to the discretion of individual members. In deciding whether to use this title or lay claim to specialist expertise in Coaching Psychology it is, therefore, important to bear in mind the general guidelines on competence as set out in the BPS Charter, Statutes and Code of Conduct.
