Who can benefit from LASIK?
If you are age 18 to 65 and need glasses to drive, your vision can probably be improved with LASIK. Acceptable candidates for LASIK are in good general health and have no eye diseases such as cataracts or glaucoma. Also, your glasses or contact lens prescription should not have changed significantly in the last year. If you are under age 30 and your eyes are still changing from year to year, you should not have the procedure until your vision is stable.
