Who can be included in an Application for Permanent Residence?

0

As well as the main applicant, the applicant’s spouse/partner and dependent children can be included in a Permanent Resident visa application. “Partner” includes wife or a de facto partner who has lived with the applicant in a genuine and stable relationship for 12 months or longer prior to the visa application. Dependent children include unmarried children who may be considered dependent if they are totally or substantially reliant on their parents for support, and have no children of their own. For same sex couples, the same rules apply as for married/de facto hetero couples. Parents and siblings cannot be included in an application, and must make a separate application in their own right.
