The person who wants to be a PBIS trainer must be proactive and can work to change the behavior of the kid. It needs proper research. The person has the ability to deal with kids and can teach them what is expected without punishing them on their wrong deeds. He must have patience and analytical skills to learn about the kids’ behavior and work accordingly.

The individual also should have a flexible schedule in order to give assistance to implementing schools and to provide training for new schools both at the local and regional level. • The LEA decides who they want to be trained to be their PBIS trainer/coordinator.
