Who can attend Fire Academy training sessions?

0

Persons desiring to attend training classes conducted by the Fire Academy must be a bona fide member of a volunteer fire or ambulance departments. There are no programs offered for peripheral groups affiliated with volunteer fire departments. The test as to who may attend is simple. A person needs to be covered under the “Volunteer Fireman’s Benefit Law” (VFBL) before they can participate in our training programs. Persons or groups who do not meet this requirement should contact the Fire Academy directly to discuss their particular situation.
