Who can apply to the Bachelor of Science in Technology Education program?
This program is designed for people who want to obtain a bachelor’s degree and teach Technology Education in middle or high schools. This College of Education program prepares you to pass the professional certification exam and subject area exam in order to earn a state teaching license in Technology Education (6-12) and start a successful career in education. Groups who make successful transitions into the program include students who took Technology Education courses or participated in the Technology Student Association in high school, lower division college students, veterans, and adults considering a career change. What they all share in common is a desire to become a teacher in an exciting, project-based field!
