Who can appeal under FIND A RATING?
1) Computer rated players Up or Down 2) Mixed Exclusive Up or Down 3) Self-rate who wish to move UP only 1) Self-rated who wish to move DOWN are reviewed by the Colorado District NTRP Oversight Group 2) All medical appeals are reviewed by the Section NTRP Oversight Group. If granted, the medical appeal would be reviewed by the National Medical Appeal Committee. The appeal must be granted by both levels to take effect. Either level can deny the appeal. Only the player should appeal his/her rating. The USTA unveiled a new procedure for the appeal process in 2008. In the past, all appeals had to be submitted to the USTA Colorado office. The new Automated Appeal in TennisLink allows players to appeal their rating online and find out automatically if their appeal has been granted or denied.
