Who came up with the idea for CKI Service Week and why?
The 2008–09 Circle K International Board of Representatives thought CKI Service Week would bring CKI clubs together to do projects to benefit the organization’s service partners, bring the Kiwanis family together to make a difference with Kiwanis One Day and bring CKI together for one week to make a difference in the world. The board thought CKI needed a week to focus on what means the most to us, serving others and helping people. Committees had similar directives of promoting spirit for CKI’s service partners and the Kiwanis family.
