Who belongs to APHA?
APHA has a voluntary membership representing a variety of disciplines including practitioners, policy and decision makers and students from health, education and social services, representatives of government departments and non-government organizations, community members and others who are interested in health protection, disease and injury prevention, health promotion and the determinants of health. Currently, APHA has approximately 300 members. Membership is open to any individual or group who is interested in promoting and protecting the health of the public.
