Who believes in the 2012 Apocalypse theory?
I don’t. There have been tons of doomsday prophecies throughout the years, like in 1500 and Y2K. They didn’t come true, and there’s an extremely good chance that this won’t happen either. There aren’t even any valid theories about what could cause it . Also that date isn’t certain anyway. Some say it translates to the 20th, some say December in general, and more just say sometime in 2012. Durer created this self-portrait because he was afraid the world was about to end and wanted to appear pious.
