Who authored the present consumerism menace – politicians / financiers / social reformers / individual greed?
The matter of authorisation of this overspending comes back to 2 groups: Government and Business Elite. Government gain more taxes while Business gain more profit whom threaten the former. Of course the big problem comes when the Business go overboard and decide to spread capital like confetti which is what started this whole problem of financial insecurity. It all began like the last depression in the USA. But Australia is not innocent given that we sadly follow anything the Yanks do, check out Rudd’s Monthly comments and his following of Obama hey? With loans not returned Banks soon defaulted and asked Bush for much funds which they recieved so the idea that Obama is the first to do this is ridiculous. With money for anything people got more assets to fast and with little thought from Governments they just went about their business.
