Who attends the Salute to Graduates, the Academic Honors Reception, and the Student Awards Program?
All graduates are encouraged to attend the Salute to Graduates,. The Academic Honors Reception is a special ceremony for students who are graduating with honors based on their GPA. At that ceremony, graduates will be given medals to wear at Commencement that indicate that they are graduating with either Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Summa Cum Laude honors. Students participating in the University Honors Program are also honored and recieve medals at the Academic Honors Reception. The Student Awards Program recognizes outstanding students for academic achievement, leadership, or service during the current academic year.
