Who attends School of Government courses?
Each year, more than 12,000 public officials throughout North Carolina attend up to 200 courses in Chapel Hill and at other locations across the state. Attendees include city and county managers, county commissioners, city council members, finance officers, planning officials, judges, and school board members, among many others. The School also provides orientation and staff services to members of the North Carolina General Assembly.
