Who attends AntiqueWeekend?
Sellers, Dealers &Vendors: A very wide variety of sellers bring their goods to AntiqueWeekend. For some this is a once or twice a year activity, others make their living traveling from show to show year around. Some sellers have full-time antique shops or mail-order businesses and add to their sales by attending our shows. Several sellers import vintage and unusual goods from Europe in large quantities. AntiqueWeekend sellers come from all corners of the country, most from outside Texas. Buyers: An equally wide variety of buyers attend the twice a year AntiqueWeekend shows. Bargain hunters, antique hobbyist, and serious collectors come to pursue their own interests. Also attending are business buyers including decorator and design professionals, antique and collectable brokers, architects, and those that are stocking retail shops. AntiqueWeekend buyers are largely from Texas metropolitan communities including Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin.
