Who arranges academic placements in the U.S. for Thai Fulbright grantees?
The Institute of International Education (IIE) in New York and Washington, D.C. provides academic placement services for all candidates under the graduate study awards and non-degree/ professional awards. Graduate study candidates are permitted to submit applications directly to other appropriate U.S. institutions and should inform the Foundation of the progress of any applications. Senior grantees under the Thai Visiting Scholar Program are required to make their own initial contacts with U.S. institutions. Final confirmation of the placement in the U.S. for each senior scholar is arranged by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) which is located in Washington, D.
