Who are well known gaelic football players?
Within Ireland, many Gaelic Footballers would be well known names, far too many to list here. Outside of Ireland, they would not be so well known beyond amongst Irish people. Notable Gaelic Footballers who came to fame in other ways include the Manchester United and Irish international soccer player Kevin Moran, who played for Dublin in the 1970s. Jack Lynch of Cork played for his county in the 1940s, and in 1966 became Taoiseach, which is the head of the Irish government.
