TKS is owned and run by Steve Streeting, the project lead since OGRE’s creation, to promote wider commercial acceptance of OGRE, provide additional services like consulting / contract development, and to be a legal entity that can represent OGRE in the wider business world. TKS underwrites all ogre3d.org’s main expenses, including the server, trips to conferences, and pays Steve a meagre salary so he can spend more time on OGRE instead of having to hold down a regular job!
