Who are the Weir Brothers?
Graham and Neil Weir were Scottish musicians who had originally been recruited by OMD’s then-manager Gordian Troller. The Weirs initially joined OMD in Belgium where the band were rehearsing for the Junk Culture tour and played with OMD throughout the tour. The brothers became part of OMD’s lineup for the follow-up albums Crush and The Pacific Age before going their separate ways when OMD split around 1988.
