Who are the top ten greatest NBA players of all time?
Well it’s hard to answer in terms of different eras. If you put Vince Carter back in the 1960’s for example, he would have dominated just because of his athleticism. But, if you even up everything and just look at what they did in their eras, here are my top 10 (with the first 5 being the best players at the 5 positions): Michael Jordan -Best of all time, 99% of people agree Magic Johnson – Best PG, no question, 5 rings and retired early Bill Russell – 11 championships in 13 years, Best defensive big man ever Larry Bird – Best SF, best pure shooter, 3 rings, had to play against the 80’s Lakers Tim Duncan – Best PF, 4 rings, so fundamental, humble and quiet so no credit Wilt Chamberlain – Shattered records left and right, offensively did what he wanted Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – Most points all time, 6 rings Oscar Robertson – Stats are amazing, averaged a triple double in one season Kobe Bryant – 4 rings now, clutch, still going strong, will end up as second best SG ever Shaq – 4 rings, took
