Who are the tenants of The Transamerica Pyramid?
The Pyramid contains 500,000 square feet of Class A office space. More than 1,500 people work in The Transamerica Pyramid, employed by more than 50 firms. The largest tenant, Banc of America Securities, leases more than 280,000 square feet of office space and houses one of its largest trading floors outside of New York. Transamerica Corp., which actually built The Transamerica Pyramid as its corporate headquarters, has relocated its headquarters from San Francisco, and retains only a small presence in The Pyramid today.
