The Bedouin are identified as primary stakeholders, i.e. stakeholders directly affected by the development. Through a participatory approach, which includes community participation in all aspects of decision-making, implementation, sharing of benefits and evaluation efforts that are essential in order to ensure sustainability of achieved results, increase efficiency and build local capacity; the project team are able to identify and analyze interests, attitudes and influences of the Bedouin so that the development and its aims are managed in the best way. Other stakeholders are the St. Katherine Protectorate management, the St. Katherine City Council and the Security Forces.
