Who are the shareholders and directors of Ngati Tama Mandate Limited?
There are six equal shareholder/directors being three from each group. They are John Chadwick, Sheryl Connell and Eldon Potaka from Ngati Wai o Ngati Tama Trust and Martha Gilbert and Kura Moeahu from Ngati Tama ki te Upoko o te Ika Incorporated. In their capacity as directors and shareholders they will be required to report to and act in accordance with the lawful directions of their appointing organisation. This will be confirmed in a trust deed between the directors/shareholders and their appointing organisations. The trust deed will also set out more generally the relationship between the directors/shareholders and the claimant community. These trust deeds will be available for inspection at the mandate hui.
