Who are the referees at games in TCRSA?
Most of the referees at TCRSA’s games are the local youth or adults of the association. Most of the association referees, especially for the younger age division games, are teenagers and are referees in training. While TCRSA will strive to have certified referees at all scheduled games, the U5-U8 age groups are not required to have a referee present to play a game. The two teams may agree on a volunteer to step in as referee. U9 and up teams must have a certified referee, preferably a center referee and two assistant referees, for a game to be played.
