Who are the perpetrators? Are they whites enslaving blacks, again?
The perpetrators of this current enslavement going on in the continental African nations today are (except on few cases) mostly the affluent indigenous Africans victimizing the less fortunate, less privileged and poverty stricken fellow Africans. In some ways similar to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, the recruitment and transportation of Africans victims of human trafficking into western countries are mostly carried out by fellow Africans acting as ‘middlemen’ (and ‘middlewomen’). Majority of African victims held in households, either in the continent of Africa and other parts of western countries are trapped by affluent indigenous Africans, as well.
