The National Measurement Office (NMO) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. We are the UK appointed Market Surveillance Authority responsible for enforcing the Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances, Energy Related Products, Energy Labelling and Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market) Directives.
