Who are the monitors and what do they do?
Equity Audition Monitors are your fellow AEA Members. They have agreed to oversee Equity auditions. They help these auditions run smoothly by making sure that producers and actors all observe Equity audition procedures. Monitors are supervised by Auditions Department staff, and they never solo until they have worked with experienced monitors. While these Monitors are not members of the Equity Staff, they are paid-up members of AEA dedicated to serving the membership.
