Who are the members of the Board of Executive Clemency and how are they chosen for appointment?

0

The current members are: Duane Belcher, Chairman (who is chosen as chairman by the Governor);, Olivia Meza, Tad Roberts, Marian Yim, and the newest member, Ellen Stensen. All members of the board are appointed by the governor for five-year staggered terms. The governor is also permitted by Arizona law to select one of the members of the five-member panel as chairman. The board is a “sole and separate” agency and is not under the control or influence of the Arizona Department of Corrections.
