Who are the members of Shariah Advisory Board (SAB) of UISF?
The Shariah Advisors for UISF are: a. Maulvi Muhammad Hassan Kaleem Maulvi Muhammad Hassan Kaleem is a renowned Islamic Scholar having considerable experience in advising financial institutions on Shariah related affairs. Currently, Mr. Kaleem is a Shariah Board member of Pak Kuwait Takaful Company Limited and Inter Securities Islamic Fund and is the Shariah Advisor for the Pakistan operations of AlBaraka Islamic Bank. In addition to this, he has been teaching Islamic Studies and Arabic at Dar-ul-Uloom Karachi and Centre of Islamic Economics, Karachi for many years. He has completed Takhassus Fil Ifta and Alimiyyah from Dar-ul-Uloom Karachi, a renowned Islamic Institute of Pakistan headed by Mufti Taqi Usmani. b. Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan Mufti Muhammad Najeeb Khan is a recognized Islamic scholar and researcher having strong comprehension of all aspects of Islamic Law and a specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Finance.
