Who are the key parties behind the proposals for Mayfield?
The key stakeholders for the Mayfield SRF consist of representatives from the key landowners, potential occupiers and City Council as follows: • BRB (Residuary) Ltd – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Department for Transport (DfT). BRBR owns the Mayfield Station site which forms the significant majority of the land to the north of the River Medlock. BRBR is the project sponsor engaged in a Government funded feasibility study (running in tandem with the preparation of the SRF) to test the merits of a new Government Civil Service Campus in the Mayfield site bringing together civil servants from across Greater Manchester and attracting jobs from London. • Office of Government Commerce (OGC) – is an independent office of HM Treasury working in partnership with BRBR to represent the requirements of Government departments i.e. the proposed occupiers of the Mayfield office campus. • Government Office of the North West (GONW) – working to deliver Government programmes and policies within the r
