Who are the EHLS participants?
Participants are nonnative speakers of English who have professional proficiency in the native language and want to improve their English skills in order to obtain higher level positions in the United States. For 2010, the EHLS program is actively recruiting native speakers of Arabic, Dari, Hausa, Igbo, Mandarin Chinese, Pashto, Persian Farsi, Swahili, Somali, and Urdu.
