Who are the Dulles Triangles?
The idea came about in 1992 by three members who were looking for a social outlet without having to go into the city. The club started with just a handful of members who met weekly for happy hour and did various monthly activities. Soon, word traveled around the community about this new social outlet that was outside the beltway. Eventually it was decided to establish a board of directors to ensure a structured management for the group. One of the first concerns for the Board was to establish a more permanent place where the weekly happy hours could accommodate the growing membership. After several different locations, the Cosmopolitan Lounge in the Reston Sheraton seemed to serve the club’s needs best. We continue to have our weekly happy hours here each Thursday.
