Who are the deities of Buddhism?

Theravada views. They have no idea what we are talking about. In Vajrayana Buddhism, all deities are within our grasp, understanding and command, so we can ask a particular deity to do things for us. Be sure to ask for the Wisdom Deities; and not the Demonic or World deities for they know not better. We have wisdom deities, who basically Buddha and high level Bodhisattvas, these we pray to. The Worldly Deities and protectors, we give Commands or make Requests based on the samayas between these beings and our lineage Gurus. We command low level beings, by their promises to their masters, the high levels worldly Deities.
