Who are the Crash Test Dummies?

Crash Test Dummies are a musical group, originally from Winnipeg, Canada. In alphabetical order, the most well-known line up of Crash Test Dummies: Benjamin Darvill (01/04/67): harmonica, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, and more… Michel Dorge (09/15/60): drums Ellen Reid (07/14/66): back-up vocals, piano, keyboards, accordion Brad Roberts (01/10/64): lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, songwriting Dan Roberts (05/22/67): bass The lineup of Crash Test Dummies has changed through the years, though the above five are often thought of as being the “official” lineup of Crash Test Dummies. These days, though, not all of them play on each album or join each tour, and the band is often joined by supplemental musicians. This seemed to start with the release of I Don’t Care That You Don’t Mind, which had originally been planned as a Brad Roberts solo CD. Three of the five Dummies – Dan, Mitch, and Benjamin – did not appear on this album, and Benjamin did not tour to support it.
