Who are the counsellors at FGI?
FGI hires only experienced counsellors each of who have had at least five years of experience and are members in good standing with their professional associations. Your psychologist will be chartered and your social worker will be registered. This means that, in addition to the supervision they receive from FGI, they are accountable to their association to provide competent ethical services. All FGI counsellors welcome questions about their qualifications and experience. In addition, you will be requested to complete a confidential Satisfaction Survey at the completion of counselling. This is very important to FGI as it allows them to work towards improving the program based on your experience and recommendations. The counsellor is always open to feedback on how counselling is progressing and would like to hear how you feel counselling is going from session to session.
