Who are the camp Medical Staff? What do they do?
Eurotech® always utilizes the services of a Head Athletic Trainer at every site in addition to Assistant Athletic Trainers and various other certified medical support staff as per ACA guidelines. Eurotech® Medical Staff are on-site and on the field at all times as well as being available off the field on a need be basis. The Medical Staff will provide any necessary and appropriate treatment as he or she sees fit and in some cases, parents or guardians will be notified of any injuries/illnesses that will keep the camper from participating in camp activities. In the case of a serious injury, campers may be taken to local medical facility if ambulatory. In the rare case of a true emergency, it is Eurotech® policy to call 911 immediately. In any event, Eurotech® Medical Staff always have access to campus medical staff as well as knowledge and a working relationship with the nearest medical facility.
