Who are the Ancestors?
Witches also look to the Ancestors, or those who have gone before. The Ancestors have different names in different cultures, but the concept is the same. Witches often consult the Ancestors for advice and help. Sometimes the Ancestors can also be called on as guardians as well as advisors. We sometimes even offer them gifts and leave food out for them. The Ancestors, however, are not Gods but rather respected or honored ones.
