Who are Sony Ericsson?
Sony Ericsson are the 4th biggest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world, and the second biggest in the UK. That’s an important distinction to make, and I’ll come back to it later. But for now, suffice to say they’re one of the big boys, with one of the most instantly recognisable names in the mobile world. And if it isn’t obvious from the name, Sony Ericsson are actually made up of a joint venture between two companies (no prizes for guessing it’s Sony and Ericsson…) That gives thi a vast wealth of expertise to draw from; from Ericsson, years of experience in the world of mobile phones and from Sony, even longer in the world of fabulously-groovy consumer electronics.
