Who are some of the writers/artists Calaca has published/produced?
As of June 2004 Calaca Press/Red CalacArt Publications has published/produced 21 titles featuring 64 different poets, authors, artists, and groups including but not limited to: Chicano poetry legends ralrsalinas and alurista; MacArthur “Genius” Award recipient Guillermo Gmez-Pea; Colombian lesbian librarian tatiana de la tierra; La Revista Mujer cofounder and editor Elba Rosario Snchez; artist and author Simn Silva; spoken word groups the Taco Shop Poets, Los Delicados and Grito Serpentino; up-and-coming Latina scribes Olga Angelina Garca Echeverra and Leticia Hernndez-Linares; and Latina artists Berenice Badillo, Isis Rodriguez and Maya Gonzalez as well Chicano Park muralists Victor Ochoa, Mario Torero, and Sal Barajas to name a few.
